I want to remove my Media Direct partition with killdisk, but am wondering will using a micro sd work instead of a usb flash drive?

I used killdisk just yesterday, not to remove the MD partition though...

From what I've tried, 1530 (assuming you are talking about 1530 here) does not boot from SD card reader. You'll have to use a USB key.
