    microsoft word trial?

    i didnt order any software with my new e1505...but it came with a trial of microsoft word 2003. is there any reason i should get a better microsoft word? does the trial version mean its going to expire?

    If its office 2003 trail it will expire either 60 or 90 days I can't remember.

    I would suggest OpenOffice. It is free and works quite well unless you have a specific need for Office.

    If you go to school you could do what I did and get the $500 office pro for $80 at my school store. Best buy ive ever made. But yeah its also online at journeyed.com for $120 if your a student. I would recommend doing that if it applies to you. Having power point and excell has its advantages.

    you can do what sheff159 suggested or since you are a student you can get the microsoft office student and teacher edition which has all the aplications (word, powerpoint, excel, and outlook) for about $190 instead of paying $500 for the regular one...but this is in canada so if you are in the us u should check out the price in the us
