    i'm thinking about formatting my laptop. haha i do this to all my computers when i get them because all the useless softwares.

    but i do admit that laptop has some key things i might need...

    i have a dell i9300 and what are some softwares or drivers i might need to install? i saw on the dells website they have drivers for monitors and stuff like that. are those the stuff i should be installing? thx.

    i want to reformat too.. the software really ****ed things up, excuse my french... i know the basic concept of reformating.. just wondering if someone could give me the full step by step procedure so i know i'm not ****ing up?

    all i know so far is that there is a reformating button once i right click on my HD... other than that.. i don't know what i would need to install after, etc... any help? thanks

    does anyone know that if i can use the cd-key that came with my i9300 but i use my old windows xp cd since stupid dell didnt give it to me? or do i have to call dell and send them?

    you should be able to. As long as you have the same operating system, the key should work.

    alright cool. cuz i want to format this sucker as soon as possible :D so much junk in it its ridiculous. haha

    oh yea i also have another question...can anyone here use the chat option that dell offers? i keep getting something about not a dell home system. but it is! -.-'

    Just curious, but how come dell wouldn't give you the cds? Did they even offer to sell them to you?
