    mouse freeze on xps1530? is that common?

    ok guys im having a problem with my touchpad. It keeps on freezing for a bit once in a while when its loading programs or something.... is anyone else getting that? i havent reinstalled vista or anything yet.... just freezes once in a while...... hmm..... should i return this?.... well im running it on battery and balanced settings..... does that have anything to do with the mouse freezing once in a while and/or lagging?

    Go to Support.dell.com find your model under tech support and install the latest BIOS, supposedly that should fix your problem.

    mine isnt about the touchpad going crazy after i close the lid.... it just freezes once in a while when im using it.... for couple of seconds or so.... -_-.... i know the bios fixes the crazy touchpad problem with the lid closed / open thing... but mine is just freezing once in a while....

    wow i think i know what the problem is..... dell didn't update my drivers!!!! they gave me all the older version drivers!!! wow..... nice sales tactics.... to get ppl to return their products.... did anyone else get older version drivers?

    Preliminary tests show an improvement with the touchpad with bios A08 for me in general use. I may not have used it enough since updating the bios to be sure tho.
