Theres been some odd issues going on with my folders.

Everytime i try to double click on a folder to open it, instead of showing me the contents in the folder.... a search box opens. So in order to get to the folder contents i have to right click and click explore...

Are there any fixes to this? I've tried a buncha stuff!

This isn't a mouse issue. Here i came to crack a joke that you should place some mouse traps down to rid your mouse issue...but i cant. I let down.

What is the search box that opens. Is it a windows one? Or is it a spyware one?

    Tried System Restore?

And nizzy is right, this is not a mouse issue.

Try this. I am assuming that you are using vista.

    1. Hold the windows key and press R on your keyboard.
    2. In that text bar, type regedit and click ok.
    3. Be careful in the registry window. Only go to this directory:
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell
    4. One there, on the right side, double-click on "(Default)".
    5. Under value data, type: none
    6. Press ok and exit out of the registry and see if you can now open folders ok.
