So i just recently got the inspirion 9400 from dell and other than the vista/nvidia driver difficulties i had at first, the only other problem i have is that whenever I play my songs in any media player (itunes, vlc, wmp, songbird) the song will start to skip a little every couple seconds.

I tried exiting all programs aside from itunes and its only running at 2-7 CPU usage but it still skips every couple seconds.

eh.. btw, this problem also applies to ALL other processes i run on my laptop.
