    my DELL latitude D531 makes weird sound

    I have an Dell latitude D531, it makes weird noise while running at the hard disk area, the noise is screeching or it is like opening a rusted door, it has a very frequent repeatations, is there any solution to this what is the reason of this sound, could i get any help

    Your hard drive might need replacement. try running the diagnostics (press f12 when you see the dell startup screen) and see if it pass. if it failed, backup your files and have it replaced.
