so i reinstalled my windows last night, and one of things i wanted to do today, was get the TV tuner set up. well, i plugged it in, and nothing happened. so i figured it was not picking it up, so i unplugged and replugged it in. still nothing. went into windows media center and tried to set up the tv tuner, and it says that it isnt working and may be malfunctioning. any ideas on whats up?

you need the driver. should be on the dell site, and it tells you when to plugin and do all that stuff.

The weird part is that it is listed under the video card drivers for the E1705/9400 but not for the E1505.

another quick question, where is folder where things u record are stored? like, it says it will "keep until space is needed", but where is it stored? also, if i hit the delete key on a folder i dont want in MCE, will it delete the real folder in windows? or just the "copy" of it in MCE?

Did the driver solve the tuner issue? I have basically the same setup as you w/ the Angel tuner. I think I'll reformat this weekend, but I totally forgot and didn't realize about the tuner...

It's in the shared documents section. Just click on my computer and you should see it. There'll be subfolders full of mce sample crap that just wastes space.
