    my speakers stopped working

    no sound is coming out at all, i rolled back the driver. and checked other settings, but i never changed anything. it just stopped? could i have burnt out the speakers?! i hope thats not the case because i dont even blast the speakers or anything. can someone diagnose it?? =(

    Try using headphones and see if you are getting sound. That will diagnose if your speakers are kaput or not.

    It's your speakers, I've found that many speakers arent compatible with laptops especially dells...for instance, I bought these bad boys like a couple months ago

    and they didnt work untill I bought this special plug for my inspiron

    bingo. i tried moving my screen and it started working. imma try and take some stuff apart to fix it on my own.
