    my windows taskbar is gone, no start button

    guys think got a virus. i was browsing the web looking for old nokia ringtones when suddently i got a message saying something about a virus in the start.exe or something like that and was asked to move it to vault and fix the problem. after the problem was fixed it asked me to restart my computer and i did but now my task bar is gone. if press ctrl alt and del then the option run type explorer and the only think that appears is my documents window. same as when restart my computer. how do get my task bar back? i need the start button my clock and all of that. please help me thank you and sorry im using my cell to post this, you may see bad spelling

    System Recovery would be the easiest way to "time machine" back to when you didn't have the virus.

    I don't really want to get to that point unless its really necessary... is there any other way to get my taskbar back? everything works fine in my computer, only my taskbar is missing.

    "system recovery" you don't mean install everything fresh right? cause I think I was confused when you said system recovery. I did it :) it worked, went back 3 days and now it works!
