After using my new n5110 for 15 days i noticed that the screen shows a yellowish white/creamy white instead of white background. every white colour seems yellowish white/creamy white as the color temperature is warmer. i compared it with the screen of n5010 and there is alot of difference the n5010 seems a very white like bluish white.

i checked the manufacturing date of the lcd panel it is from AUO and the model number is aou22ec. and the mfg date is week 1, 2009. its odd that laptop manufactured in 2011 has 3 year old screen.

Please help me should I claim warranty????

Have you tried to display it externally and see if the problem happens on the external screen? Have you tried updating your video drivers?

There's no real way to check, and honestly it doesn't matter. Most panels were most likely manufacturered ages ago and Dell keeps the same supply and recycles them through the Inspiron line, I'm sure the 1564, N5010/N5110 use the same LCD, just different Dell part numbers.

As for the 15R specifically, I've seen AUO, LG Phillips, Samsung, Chi Mei, usually AUO being the worst. Pray you get an LG Phillips or Chi Mei.
