    does anyone know where to get an updated driver for this drive..i just bought the computer from dell and the newest driver is from 2001...i cant find a updated driver anywhere

    You shouldn't need a driver other than the one installed with windows. Are you having issues?

    yeah, when trying to install black and white 2 i get a "redundancy check error"...i called ea and they said the only thing they can think of is to update my driver..or else they would refund my money for the game...id actually just like the game to work liek its supposed to..

    Possibly the copy protection on the disc is causing the errors if the drive is working fine otherwise. I'd head over to CDFreaks. There is lots of knowledgeable peoples over there in regards that sort of thing. Have you checked on BW's website to see if anyone else is having problems?
