    got a customer who called in looking at a SN-S082H/BEBN as a replacement to the stock drive which he says has died. I checked the Dell site to see if it had any part #'s listed for possible replacements but the only thing it shows was a HDD recommendation.

    I don't want to sell him the wrong part, so I told him I'd do some research to see what the story is. what say have you? :)

    Any 2.5" IDE drive would work, AFAIK.

    I had a 120g IDE Western Digital in mine purchased and installed after order.

    Might have to update the BIOS for anything bigger than that.
