Good day, I have ordered a 6000d with a display WUXGA, I have been reading that some people are not happy campers with the resolution. You all that have this display, are you happy with it or if you could, would you change it to the WSXGA+

I was thinking of changing my order, or am I just being foolish.... Thanks for your help on this...

Well I can tell you that a buddy of mine ordered the same screen but in LCD TV version, it absolutely kicks ass.

i have a 6000d with the uxga res. it's perfect. i can get two full size broswers next to each other or two full size docs next to each other. the factory setting is 120dpi which actually was too big for me and i switched back down to 96 or wahtever it is. both resolutions were crystal clear. i'm using cleartype and it's perfect. absolutely no problems. the fonts aren't too small, there's plenty of real estate. absolutely no complaints.

I ordered the sxga+ because of all the negative posts on the wugxa screen. It would have been nice to hear that some people are happy with it. The sxga should be fine. It comes in monday [ :(] and my birthday is today (11th). I will give my opinion then.

Update: The sgxa+ has very small type. I recomend the xga for most users.

I have the 6000d with SXGA+ and its perfect. I can have a lot of Windows open at the same time side by side, though my main use for it is editing large photoshop pictures.

Its a good screen. Its bright and clear, I have no complaints aboutthe resolution. The 6000d is a very good machine. In fact its everything I expected and wanted out of my laptop.
