    First off--know nothing about notebooks.

Got a dead Dell Inspiron E-1405. Technicians around town told my daughter it needs a new power cord input (mother board, I'm guessing). They tell me the power inlet is part of the motherboard.

Daughter gave it to me. Now, I'm seeing if anyone can tell me the right p/n for motherboard so I can start checking around and see if I can find one.
