    hello

    basically I am thinking of connecting an extra monitor (19', 20' 22' ?) to my Dell Inspiron 1300 which has Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 900...
    how do I go about this?

    Plug in the monitor.

    Then go into display settings (by right clicking on the desktop) and then just enable the second monitor.

    Buy the extra monitor, plug into the VGA port (Make sure monitor is under 1920x1200)

    It only has to be set at or under the monitor's native resolution. They don't max out at 1920x1200, ya know.
