    im looking to buy the dell inspiron e1505
    are there any heat or noise issues?
    should i get the intergrated or dedicated graphics?
    how much battery life can i get out of it?
    is it fairly portable?

    Dell E1505 is great
    I haven't notice any heat or noise issue , its pretty good ;)
    If you play games a lot then go for the X1400
    You can get around 3 hours using the 6 cell in normal situation
    It's very portable as far as I know for a man that is ;)

    If you plan to carry this a bit, a 14" is probably a better option in my opinion.

    The e1505 is great. It does get a little hot though
