I got my 1525 today. I wrote zeros and loaded xp-pro sp2. I have all drivers installed and pretty much everything works with the following exceptions.

My sound works, but I show a splat on the device manager for audio device on high definition audio bus. I have the latest xp/1520 drivers loaded as well as the kb888111 installed. Like I said, sound works, but can't get rid of the splat in the device manager.

The other thing is the touch pad... it works, but I cannot scroll with it. I don't think the 1520 drivers are fully compatible.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks

    about the touch pad...

    - you can scroll after all ! ! !

    :)

just enter your presets in the tray Dell TouchPad icon and than uncheck "enable" button... click apply and than the scroll buttons on your touchpad will work ! ! !

it`s reverse... I dont know why, but when you select "enable", scroll buttons dont work...

this works for me... you can try with this...

and for your other problem... I`m on a good way to resolve it...

    many greetings,
    a
