no, Dell's policy is to not report on upcoming releases so as not to hurt current sales of existing notebooks so until the day comes when it shows up on their website the general public will know nothing except through news source leaks and component order reports from Taiwan (visit www.digitimes.com for such a news source)

that is a sucky policy, I might just have to buy a new HP if I hear nothing soon. That is dumb of Dell.

it's what HP does, Toshiba does, Fujitsu does...there is no manufacturer that will tell you what they are about to release because it will hurt their current sales. it's a smart business policy.

well, it may be a good business policy, but it irritates me. Oh well, I guess that I will just have to learn some patience and just wait till I see the new Dell on the website.

Dell would rather have you buy a notebook now, and then see the super-cool new version and buy another.
