    new Dell notebook

    I got excited last month when I heard that there might be news about 1 or 2 new Dell notebooks. I am getting discouraged now though, it is almost half way through Oct. and we are not sure if or what might be coming from Dell. Confirmation that there will be a new 14 or 15 inch widescreen notebook would make me very happy, or even just an upgrade to the 8600. but nothing like that has been confirmed, or even mentioned really as a rumor. Does ANYONE know if something like one of these will be coming out or be announced? Thanks your your help.

    14 or 15 widescreen? not until Christmas or after. Next month will see a release for absolute sure on a desktop style notebook. I know nothing of a replacement for the 8600 though.

    Thanks abaxtar, I might just have to hold on and wait until the 14 or 15 inch widescreen. i was looking at maybe getting an apple, but i am not even sure why i would do that. thanks for the info again, I appreciate it VERY much.
