    It'll be Intel--they still have no plans to start using AMD.

    Either way, it'll be interesting. I mean, I thought their product line is saturated enough as is, with so many models. Could the new line be something comparable to the boutique brands out there?

    Dell is quoted as saying it will be out the second half of this year, so i'm looking for it to be a christmas present. The new line is going to include higher end desktop & laptops, which will start around 1500.

    How about small/thin and light, a la X1 and 700m?

    your guess is as good as mine...although i look for this to be completely different from the inspiron/latitude series. My guess is that they are going to bring something out that will compete with the more expensive brands like Fujitsu, IBM, Sony, etc. I think this is going to be for people that are willing to pay the big bucks for a system.

    So they are not going to build the new systems with the upcoming Intel dual core mobile chip? That would put them up with the big boys that SG is talking about.
