    hey guys,

Just a quick query, I am thinking about getting a new laptop - I've read a few posts and others are advising users to wait for a new lineup of laptops that usually occurs over the summer, is this true for dell? What has dell got planned as I am going to be purchasing my laptop mid may, would it be advisable to just hold out for this 'platform upgrade'? Currently I am torn between two laptops:

    XPS M1530 - £699 inc vat

    Vostro 1500 - £680.33 inc vat
when this upgrade comes about, can I do better then these configs? [at the same price that is]

I would say it would be worth your wait for the new platform even if you buy it has the old platform and laptop will be cheaper.
