hey everyone i ordered my xps 1530 a couple days back (its in the shipping stage as we speak) and have been reading about the grainy, craptastic samsung displays.

has anyone who received a 1530 with the past two weeks or so received one of the samsung displays or has everyone been getting the raved LG models?

I bought the 1440 x 900 just because of the problem.

I love my screen, its awsome, lg screen no problems and no one else does.

    Cheaper and better

Remember every laptop screen is HD so dont worry about getting higher res. just cause you think it would look better watching Blu-ray or DVD

Well thats a relief DELL is no longer shipping with Samsung LCD's, I am currently replacing my XPS 1530 for a new one because of faulty 7200HDD, and was worried I might run out of luck of getting the LG panel on the newly replaced one.

I can see at 180 degrees no problem.

You need to send it back.
