This forum has always been extremely help so I just thought Id double check here before I did anything to my registry.
I just did a scan and it came up with 558 problems found (340 are temp files). 59 problems come up as high priority and are found in the Custom Controls section of errors. Would it be safe for me to just go ahead and fix all 558 problems?
PS- The main reason I am trying to clean up my e1705 is because sometimes programs just will not open, such as the internet explorer or even my calculator. I have no idea what the problem is and Ive tried a system restore. Id rather not reformat so hopefully messing with the registry will fix this error.
Also, I have programs that I would like to delete but when I go to add/remover programs I get a message saying files can not be found to delete certain software. Does anyone know how I could correct this. It happens with AOL and ARES.

Sounds like you have major problems with your machine. I mean, when IE or calculator won't open, that's pretty bad.
You may really have to do a reformat in this case. -
Yes, you should be ok after fixing those problems. The first time I ran it I had over 650 problems identified, and my 1705 ran a lot better after I fixed all of the problems. Anyone who does a lot of installing and removing of applications will definitely benefit from running RM once every month or two.

I went ahead and ran registry mechanic. Its been about 4 hours and I havent had problems opening programs yet. I'll give it a day or two to see if it is just a coincidence.
I forgot to mention, on top of programs not opening, The right click mouse button would not respond whenever my computer wouldnt let me open programs. Anybody have that happen?
