hey guys, i just noticed theres a new bios for the 1555, A11, wondering if anyone has tried this yet..
heard horror stories about bios installation failing halfway and bricking the motherboard, so wanna make sure before i install it! ><

You can surely go ahead and update the BIOS to A11 frm support site of dell
-but while updating the BIOS just make sure that u have connected the adapter and the battery both together while flashing the BIOS it will go smooth no worrires of any failures. -
Well, actually the changelog states "Fix sometimes flash tool will stop updating progress in 32bit OS problem", so the flashing process CAN go wrong, at least with previous versions.
That is probably the reason version A09 was removed from the support site after a few days some months ago - people were having problems with its installation.
But, as for this new A11, installed it, no problems what so ever. -
might be that u r telling would be right but i have checked updating the A11 bios and it was successful without any issue's.
