    Hi,

    quick question.

there is no problem. I have just reformatted my new lappy and used the nic until i installed the wifi and then had both seemingly connected at the same time which made me wonder which would be communicating.

    cheers.

So you have an ethernet cable plugged in, and your wi-fi card is on?

Your ethernet cable gives you 100.0Mbps, while your wireless (probably) gets your 54Mbps at max (g connection). I assume windows chooses the fastest one.

yea, as i say it wasn't by design it just so happened during reinstalling drivers after the clean install that they were both 'going' at the same time so i just wondered.

it would make sense if the faster one was chosen but then again it is windows LOL.
