well i ordered a 1530 with a reasonable spec (9300,3gig mem,1440x900,8600gt gfx, blue casing...)and it arrived after a 10day wait so i decided to try the guide on getting rid of the bloatware ect ect....

anyway the guide is very well written and it worked like a dream until vista add installed and i had to then load the driver and utility disc.........

this is when i realised that it was not in the box........now i am stuck with a new install but not a single driver to run anything....

i cant download any drivers off the web site because yes you have guessed it no wireless driver to run the wifi on the lappy.....

so i decided i would ring dell and ask for the disc to be posted a.s.a.p but this was impossible to do because no one at dell could understand my problem...

so seeing that the laptop was only 3hours(£790 worth) old i asked dell to send me a new laptop out with the same specs because i wasnt happy with the missing disc....after a short conversation they have agreed to do this but but my new estimated date is 10/06/08 so there is a long wait ahead...

so the moral of my tale is this......CHECK ALL BOX CONTENTS BEFORE MESSING WITH A NEW VISTA INSTALL..... :D
