    no sp1 for vista on xps 1530?

    how come i go to windows update site and my vista isnt getting the update to sp1? it doesnt list the sp1 update for windows update? is anyone else having this problem?

    oh thanks, that explains it. I didnt install the video driver on the windows update site cuz it has a creation date (10/07) way before the one on dells website (12/07)

    It may be your fingerprint reader drivers. Windows will not update to SP1 with the current drivers from Dell. I installed the most current drivers from UPEK. Once I did this, Windows Update gave me SP1.

    I have SP1 in MY Dell too and Via Windows Update , no drivers issues as such
