I have a dell e1505 for 3 years my adapter finally gave out. Dell is selling my old adapter for $70 something. I was wondering if non brand adapters will ruin my computer and where to find these adapters for cheap. Thanks

I second that. Just get a genuine Dell one off of eBay. You don't have to worry about anything then.

Stick to getting a genuine adapter over a non brand adapter. The real thing will save you a lot of headaches. :)
