    hey everyone,

So I keep hearing that there is a security lock you can buy for your laptop that comes with a warranty that says if its stolen that they will replace your laptop..is this true? if so, whats the brand name and where can I get it? Also, is the warranty really legit?

the major lock companies that come to mine are Kingston and Targus, but you would have to check their web sites for this.

i think their warrenty is like a surge protector. if you read mauals for them, if the protector fails, then up to "x" of dollars of equipment that was connected to it that was damaged is eligible for warrenty protection. at least thats how i take it...

    cheers
