    :mad: this sucks! i still dont know how to use the number pad on my laptop!! yeh the numb lock is on but its gay! i have to hold Fn everytime i want to punch in a number, is there a way to not hold onto Fn for numbers?!

    Have you checked in your driver disk? Is there any software there that might let you control those keys?? Just a shot in the dark but it might help... :)

    I'm not sure I'm understanding you, you mean you want those keys permanently mapped to numbers instead of letters?

    there is a setting

    i don't know what it is, my laptop is at the depot for repair :( so many problems.

    Yes, there is a setting so that when Numlock is turned on you don't have to hold the Fn key, I think.

    and where can i fix that ? :O lol because right now when im gamin and need numpad its hard to reach with Fn and click the numbs

    Hit the <F2> key while your system is booting up--that should put you in the bios where you can change the setting.

    the key is F2

    oh i see...dordale, putting the greater than signs makes the forum software think that F2 is a tag.

    so it can't be seen.
