Hey, look at forums, saying that to eliminate these pops when listening to music and have turned the wifi, is off the band "a" of WiFi, someone knows how to do it? because I see no option for that.

    Thank you

For Vista...click on the menu I showed you and disable a from the list by choosing b,g.

Well it doesn't matter as your wireless card doesn't support the 5Ghz spectrum (802.11a).

To disable band A on a Dell Studio 17

Click on start icon and type in "Connection Manager" and press enter. Click on "Device Manager" from the list on the left. Click on "Network Adapters" from the middle list then double-click on "Dell Wireless 1510 Wireless-N WLAN Mini-Card" (at least that's the name of the wireless card I have on my Studio 17 Dell). Now Click on the Advanced tab and click on "Disable Bands" under property:. In the Value: field choose "Disable 802.11a" and click OK. This worked for me, no more crackling sounds.
