    open without violating warranty?

    my SPs m15330 needs to be replaced. Can I open up the defective unit to practice how to disassebmble case and bezel without violating warranty? Or returnability provided I don't break anything in the process

    I wouldn't bother opening up the defective unit because if you screw something up and Dell finds out about it, they may end up charging you/blaming you for the unit being defective.

    Why would you want to practice? Are you not sending the defective unit back?

    However, if you do break anything then you may be in trouble ;)
