Please could you give me your opinions on Dell's precision m4300 screen (1280x800, antiglare (matt)) & the m6300 (1400x900, antiglare (matt)).
...So far I have read one opinion on the pre-mentioned m6300 screen, at that resolution & it said that the viewing angles were not good.
I didn't really want a higher res because I have read that things on screen start to get small & are therefore more difficult to read.
Also what are the notebooks like concerning Hi Def video editing, I'm not that bothered about games. Thanks.

M6300 has 3600M(single 8800GTX), and WUXGA screen available though.

My M6300 has the WXGA+, and while I wouldn't call it unusable, you can definitely tell a difference in viewing angles between it and a WUXGA panel. I think the biggest difference is in the vertical viewing area. If you don't have the panel at just the right angle, colors are either washed out or inverted. Horizontal is much more forgiving. I can see text up to 75 degrees in either direction.
I personally feel like Dell should offer the M6300 with WSXGA+ as the baseline model, and then leave WUXGA as an upgrade option. WXGA+ just seems so strange on such a powerful workstation. Even my old M70 came with WUXGA (which is overkill on a 15.4" LCD) so the loss of real estate is pretty decent, and I will probably upgrade one way or another soon.
BTW, the Quadro 3600M has 64 unified pipes, so it is only equivelent to an 8800M GTS. I score about 8700 in 3dmark06 at 1280x800 with my machine. -
Thanks for the info win32asmguy.
