I am ordering an M1330 sometime next week. I am at odds with the Wireless Broadband. Not sure how much I'll use it so Millenicom's no contract, no tax, $49 a month Unlimited Wireless broadband service is appealing. Not to mention it's just $50.00 to activate and they send you a Franklin CDU-680 USB adapter to use.

Since Millenicom is Sprint service anyway, it's too bad Millenicom. can't just use the Sprint Internal card. :(

So the question is, it really worth the hassle and cost of Sprint just to not have a USB dangling off the side? I think not but, want to hear some opinions.

I don't know if you have noticed but Milenicom has hiked their price, still no contract though. That said I much prefer using the modem and the Franklin CDU-680 modem is terrific, it tilts up vertically so it doesn't have to stick straight out. You can use it on any PC or Mac because the software is loaded on the modem, just plug it into a usb port.

Thanks, hadn't noticed it was $60.00 now, still better than getting stuck in a contract and paying the same thing. I forgot about the Franklin having the software on it and that with the modem I could use it with any computer.

Thats the way to go then.
