I recently visited the outlet (even though I promised myself not to) to see if I could have bested my xps140 buy.....seems that they have very few models now, usually less than 10, poor prices for what you get, and some of them don't even list the original price....only the system price as is...kind of strange....makes me glad I bought when I did and didn't hold out too long.... :)

I personally hate Dell outlet and think everything there is pretty much a rip-off. But i'm sure many people are buying laptops from there right now becuaes they are having a sale with this coupon LQM1WJ?N47$CMK you get an additional 15% off

I thought I did pretty good with mine for 759
    1 gig memory
    80 gig HD
    1.86 Pentium
    dual layer dvd writer
    trulife screen
    same warranty as new

and most importantly...it says the keyboard is actually on the notebook..and it even comes with "shipping material".....both I felt really rounded out the package.... :)

I looked in the outlet before I made my purchase thinking that maybe I could afford the 7800 video card if I went that way.. They really had nothing at the time but three weeks later they had a ton of XPS units in there.. Seems like they come in batches from what I have noticed.

The one issue I had was there is not as much info on the machine. In some cases it looked like not all the extras were listed.
