Is there a way to pay in installments w/o interest? or do I have to pay it all upfront.

    BTW:

do you guys have any tips on bargaining when I call the csr to purchase it?

I think if your credit's good you can lease without any charges.

I used Dell to pay for my laptop....no interest for 12 months but it needs to be paid off within 12 months otherwise the interest will charged.

you would need good credit but ya. You can get one without paying interest. If you dont' pay it off in the set amount of time, you gotta pay all that interest,PLUS your balance. so watch out

do I have to sign up for this payment plan? I plan to call them to order. My dad's credit is good btw. and I'm spending 420$ while he pays the rest. I think thats doable in 12 months.

Yes, you have to apply for it. You'll find out if you've been accepted by email I believe.

I found out right away for Dell Financing that I was approved...
Depending on your credit they figure out what % interest they're going to charge you... If you pay everything in less than the 48 or whatever term you signed for, they don't penalize you with the remaining fees...
Overall it's a good thing... for me at least...

so you had to fill out a form?

Do the smart thing and just put it on a low interest rate credit card. Going through Dell financing has lead a lot of people into problems.
