    Hello,

I have this peculiar problem which seems to be affecting all the video intensive applications. The first time i noticed this problem when I ran the Dxdiag ( directX Diagnostics) . There is a rotating cube in those tests. In my case the cube rotates fine for 3/4th of the spin and then stops for a millisecond, (there is some hard disk activity at that instant ) and then restarts spinning.

Similar is the case with movies and games.

Do i need to install new video card drivers. I have a GE Force 6800 with 256 MB RAM.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Seeker

I would try that and see if it corrects the problem.
