when i unplug my notebook (e1705) from the ac adapter, i get a large loss in performance game wise, and my monitor says that im using 30% cpu, when its usually 4% any reason why this happens?

Because when you un-plug your computer it down clocks the CPU and GPU to save power. If you want full performance while gaming on the battery you can ether go into the Dell Quick Set and set it to max parfomance whie on battery. Or you can go into the power settings and chang it to max performance in the power settings. That should keep your system at full clock.

Your computer underclocks its self to increase battery life. It's a good thing.

If you change these settings you would be lucky to get 45 minutes of battery life with it on max settings with an E1705

It's not really that bad. I did it on the road with the battery. It was more laggy, but Halo still runs smooth XD
