    Yea look at the reviews.

I would then go to dell and get the dimensions of both notebooks and get a tape measurer and see the differences.

I would personally get the 1210 because the video card is very similar in performacne to the E1505 but in a smaller package.

i've seen that review but it really doesn't compare them with the lids shut side by side.

secondly, i already ordered the M1210. I've just been hearing how think it is but if it's thinner than my E1505, I don't think it's thick at all.

Its thinner than the e1505, its slightly thicker than tradional "thin and light" notebooks, hence the complaints, and its an easy trade off for the power and features the m1210 has, full speed cpu, dedicated midrange graphics, internal optical drive, all those are usually missing in "thin and light" notebooks.

well the difference between even the 1405 and the 1210 is noticeable when you use it, the quality on the 1210 is so much better, I would take it over any of the regular inspirons hands down

I really didn't notice the thickness so much when switching from one to the other. Really the dimensions and weight are so different that any thickness isn't going to stand out when comparing the two. According to Dell's site, the M1210 is 1.2" and the E1505 is 1.42". Both are just slightly wider than a typical CD ROM drive.
