    hi!!
    there's something wrong with my lcd. i have samsung 17 inch 1440 x 900display on my inspiron 9400.. there are no dead pixels but u could see some pin point dots black in color on careful watch. around 3 in number if u use dead pixel buddy.. and these dots were not there wen i first got laptop.. its like dust particles getting inside lcd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    is this a common problem?

    I'm not sure what you mean "black in color"... Are they color pixels (red, green, blue, etc) that are just like dead pixels (black)? If so, they are stuck pixels, and there are some possible solutions listed in the Wikipedia article. Good luck!
