I've tried to play those new bluray files on mplayer, but it's only 99% smooth.
Is there a player that supports the nvidia gpu?

Try Media Player Classic / GOM Player / VLC

what's GOM? VLC is fkg slow.
I got MPC + coreavc + vobsub. much better, but some files play at screwy speeds (eg video 200%, audio 100%)

I've been using VLC because it's good with compatibility -- isn't always asking for codecs. However it has hitches in the sound sometimes. Is Media Player Classic better?

I found the GOM page here
    http://www.gomlab.com/eng/
but I've never heard of GOM before.

Found a little more about GOM

    I use Media Player Classic.

I got my M1530 the other day and MPC has had no trouble at all playing everything 100% smoothly. Seeks through perfectly. Everything is just fine
