    hi , tough this is my first post but i have gone through this forum for a week. to see what is good , but i got confused and decided to post

    basically i am a student as well as a webmaster and i would like to play games , access net and a few big applications such as dreamweaver, ps etc
    so what configuration would be nice for me my budget is around $1200 (rs50,000)

    Studio XPS 16 good gaming, affordable, great CPU.

    Normal studios are not perfect for gaming, but it does hold its own, as Ice Cold said studio xps 16 is a good choice or alternatively a high end studio 1555.

    on studio 14

    one more question is there any differnce b/w 6cell and 9cell battery in performance

    Probably not, everything else looks fine, but the intergrated graphics will kill any chance of you gaming, isn't there a option to upgrade the GPU?

    Get the Studio 15 with the ATi 4570. You can play Crysis with the right settings.

    yes to 512 mb card ....
    it seems i will have to go 4 studio xps 13

    I would up the garphics card however if you think that the 13" size screen is big enough then go for it.

    btw whats the model number for the 512mb gpu?
