It's perfect. Clearly customized for YOU. Ver nice. under 'dell coupons' there's also a $750 discount coupon for orders over $1999. This would make your order more expensive, but more bang for the buck if you just purchase up to $1356.

    Passnbyu,

Did you think about the warranty because it will void the warranty if It's mentioned or cause of a problem. One person's answer to this when I said the same thing is that he'll switch back to the original, which I don't believe in... especially at my age, time in life or morals. Maybe when I was a teenager up to 20 yrs old, sure I would have! After switching, this wouldn't even be an option to you though! Do you think on a good warranty and an excellent offer it would be worth it? A heavy thought that you might want to consider/re consider!

You didn't say anything back yet so I wondered and after you made sure the warranty was transferrable!

    What do think?

Sorry Heart and everyone, I was playing on my notebook all day. It came at 9am this morning. I'm hooking up a wireless router. I was off line for most of the day. How would the warranty be voided? I talked to Dell before I bought it and they said as long as the seller calls in with the service numbers, My name, address and the date it was sold to me, the warranty would change to my name as the owner. They also said I could buy a longer plan if I wanted too. Which I'm going to do as soon as I get it changed. Stay tuned I'll keep you up dated. It was good to hear from you again. I see you have had your own problems. Hope it is working itself out. All I have to is:
YEEEEEE HAAAAA!!!!! I love this XPS Gen2. It is so Cool!!

yea heart thats the exact same thing I was wondering.
Passnbyu you said you plan on switching the CPU, if you ever try and send it in for lets say your mother board gets fryed or you spill milk on the notebook and it stops working when they open it up they would know you swapped them out from what was originaly shiped with that service number and I think that would void any warranty you may buy.

    just a thought.

    Passnbyu,
It is something to think/consider because you got an incredible deal. Maybe the switch Isn't worth to chance it! You got a great deal and now 2 of them. So of course you want to play even more, think about it!

Put some thought into it after the initial excitement wears off! Don't do it yet! Like Gargoyle said It's a "thought"! A heavy one that you might want to consider!

Post back...I'm sure you're playing with it every second!

Hey Heart and Gargoyle, I never thought about that? I can switch them but the service tag shows it can with the 2.0. I've been playing with it all day. I'm doing a fresh install. I haven't got it hooked up to my wireless router yet. I showed my buddy it this afternoon and he flipped too. He wants the other one thats coming. I'm going to leave this one along. Well the inside anyway. I haven't had much time to write back to yall. Sorry. I'll catch you up tomorrow night. I'll be back at work then. No use working. Have a good Sunday.

    It's Not Fair Sometimes??
    Hows that Heart?

PS: One more thing I forgot. If you switch the hard drive, memory or add a wifi, bluetooth card will that void the warranty?

    Passnbyu,

I just thought since you are flying high your signature to tell everyone how excited you are. I hope you were not offended!!!

As for your other questions ,why don't you wait until you can post exactly what parts,etc...you are talkng about so people know what to tell you!

    Heart [ :)]

P.S I would say life is serving you well right now!

Thanks Heart, You didn't offend me in any way. I like the way you think. You are right to the point. I want to double the ram and install a wifi and bluetooth chip. I don't think this will void any warranty? I may (not now) change the hard drive to 80 or 100gig. I can't leave anything alone. What this has to do with the title (price for Dell) I don't know. Thanks for the advise.

Sorry, the administraters removed all my subscriptions or hopefully it was a technical error. I know I didn't do anything at "ALL" wrong this time,so I'm really mad! I don't get any of my subscriptions now. I had to look for yours! I needed most of mine for reference to go back to for help with the 9300 so I'm really upset and hoping it was not intentional .It was done intentionally before ,twice! But this time there was no reason! It will take hours to find all I want from the date I joined!

That's a cute, fitting signature! I figured you were so happy right now that something's going your way!
