problem XP driver Inspiron n5010

Hi

I bought new Dell Laptop inspiron N5010 model some days ago and there are not any driver on the it's box .

when I want to download driver of DELL site

I had two choices for OS ( Win 7 and Win Vista ) . There are not Win XP driver on this site . I need Win Xp driver

becuse some of my important software work only on WIN XP OS .

please Recommend me How can I find XP driver ?or How can I solve my problem ?

 

What is the hardware config of your N5010? I just collected a full set of XP drivers for my N4010 maybe you can use. To avoid BSOD upon XP install you have to splitstream Intel HM57 AHCI / Chip set driver into the XPSP3 install CD before you can install OS into today's SATA drive because XP doesn't have native support for SATA AHCI mode.

 

plz help me out I am in trouble. I need xp on my laptop dell n5010. but i have a big problem with drivers. you do me a big favor if you upload n4010 drivers on 4shared.com or send full drivers download links for XP to [email protected] as soon as possible. plz tell me where you found n4010 drivers I mean which website or something like this.
maybe I find drivers for my laptop n5010.anyway, It is possible that I cant find them at all!!! so I have good luck!!!

Most of them are collected from Dell but they are for other modules with the same hardware and provide XP version, some of them are collected directly from their manufactures, there is no single location to get them all.

Please let me know which one doesn't install (can show a screen capture of the Device Manager) because most of them should be fine except for the display card it doesn't install automatically, you have to use the "Have Disk" option in the driver update and "force" Windows to install the driver. Another possibility is that N5010 has different hardware which is not in the N4010.

If u r nt able to fnd drivers online.

u shd use sme driver updater app.s like Driver detective or Driver Robot or Advanced Driver Optimizer or mny othr app.s thy will show u the best possible updt based on your OS.

after trying 2-3 updating app.s I trust Advanced Driver Optimizer as the app. automatically downloads n instls the update, i just need to click an update btn.

To be safe i can even rollback the update using dere restore facility.

I also have N5010 and installed XP in it. Unfortunately i was unaware of the Drivers issue.

now please i want to know how to install display driver and i want to know if the xp is working with sata ahci or not(n4010)??? if xp works with ahci...please i want u to tell me how

 

XP works with AHCI but you need splitstream the AHCI drivers into the XP installation CD to install the OS from scratch. Most of the people use nLite to splitstream their drivers and create the final installation CD.
