well i reformatted last night and there was this one partition that was like 49 mb so i deleted it since i didnt think anything of it. for some reason now i cant update my drivers for usb 2.0 (for some reason it cant fine a file names usbehci.sys)and i have some pci device and usb device that cant install. also i was able to change my hz setting to 75 before but now its only at 60 and no higher. if anyone can help me i would be so freakin' thankful for you and your information. i think i can fix it since people who build ocmputers themselves can update these drivers so if i did delete anything on that small partition i should be able to find it somewhere and fix it. please help me!!!

You should be able to get all of your drivers from the above site.
For the USB problem you can download a MS driver for it.

I don't know how good that site is, but you can google for that usb file and it will bring you up to a bunch of sites that you can get the file from.

ok i took care of the driver for the usb 2.0 but the PCI device and USB device says they have a problem. is there anything else i can do to fix it???
-
Problem? meaning that it has a yellow question mark beside the device?
Try reinstalling your communications driver and see if that helps. -
yeah there is a yellow question mark and an exlamation point too because it (only the pci device) says it has problems. there has to be a way to fix this but ive done everything i can think of. i reformatted and that didnt work.

try running the intel mobile chipset and dell notebook system software again.
i had a problem with my usb one time but did the above and it fixed it. -
I reinstalled the intel mobile chipset on a 6000 and that fixed the same problem.
