    problem with cdex 1.51 and my nec dvd-rw drive!?

    for some reason when i open cdex it doesnt detect my dvd-rw drive. can anyone help me with this. i tried to install the dell firmware for it but it didnt work. could anyone help me with this problem??? thanks.

    what's cdex??..is that like a burning program??...did u try to use the one that came with the dell and see if it detects your dvd-rw drive??..cuz then u might just have to go to the settings in cdex for it to detect it or something
