    problem with dell inspiron 1525 plz help

    Hi my dell inspiron 1525 is creating prob. earlier it was very slow and now 3 days back when i switch on my laptop it shows a mesg telling system problem so it gives two options :
    launch startup repair(recommended)
    Start windows normally
    when i click on either of these two options a screen pops up with other user block and it asks for other user name and password. I dont have other user name or password and am struck here. I cant proceed further. it doesnt even ask for have u forgotten ur password or gives me a hint. Plz help as i need my laptop for my studies as am doing online course .plz help its urgent plz care to help.

    The symptoms are really generic here, but I'd vote on a bad hard drive. Do you have a good one with which to test?

    go to boot options and perform diagnostics and check if any error msg or not
    if not boot into save mode and frm there if u are able to login to desktop screen u can try doing a system restore frm there to get the issue fixed
