I ordered my 1505 with core 2 in the late afternoon on friday the 8th of september. The testing stage has been "checked" since this past tuesday. How long typically will it be in this stage?

Also, I paid with a bank/debit card and the amount is still not debited from my account. I spoke with my bank the other day and asked if dell made any attempts to process payment since the day i ordered it, and if there is a limit to the amount a purchase can be made in one day. There is but the cost of the laptop is well below that limit.

I was told that they did not have any records of any attemps being made for payment.

Another thing, I also ordered the all in one printer on the same day and its still stuck in "preproduction".

Any ideas? Should I call dell regarding payment and the printer being stuck?

i think it is boxing stage after testing, and it takes a while to clear up
that stage. from what i gather, it is the boxing stage that they ship from
    malaysia to the US warehouses.

also since the printer or monitors are already manufactured, they don't
go into knitting or testing phase. once your laptop is shipped, your
printer should be shipped without ever going into other stages.

It takes about 3 days for the boxing stage as what gootings stated. The printer will be delivered on or around the same time that your laptop is.

Once your laptop has gone into the shipped process, your payment will be process. This is standard for Dell. They wait until they are done building your laptop before they require you to pay for it.
