    Hi All,
I need some advise....here is the situation....I currently (2) laptop an Inspiron 9300 that has a Pentium M 760 (2.0 GHZ 2 Megs of cache) and a Latitude D610 it has a Pentium M 740 (1.73 2 Megs of cache) I mainly use the Inspiron 9300 and my son uses the Latitude D630

I my question is...Can I put a Pentium M 780 in the Inspiron 9300 and then transfer the 2.0 GHZ from the 9300 to the latitude or just buy another also 2.26 for the D610 as well is it worth it on both machines part or should I maybe opt for a Pentium M 770 (2.13 GHZ) in the D610 and leave the 9300 alone ??

Will these upgrades work in these machines ???

    Thanks in advance...shkj

Any Pentium M CPUs will work in those computers.

Also have a look into the socket 479 BSEL pin-mod.

Surely you mean your son uses the D610.
